Do you have to pay for most of your water from Arad to Eilat or is it possible to find some freely available water sources along this stretch? Also, if you have to pay for water caching, what would be an estimated price to get deliveries to your campsite, as a solo hiker?

It is possible to hike the whole desert without caching  water or using  a delivery service. Please download the instructions here.
This option is free of charge.

There is water along the way in villages or if you stay with trail angels.
Cost of water delivery varies according to your hiking plan.  Even if you are a solo hiker there are ways to share costs.

I suggest that you make your plan and than get an estimate from one or more service providers.
It can be as low  as $100 for the whole desert and go up to $600 or more.
