HIKE the LAND of ISRAEL

The next post contains a sample day hike description from the guide and a sample map for the same day.

The guide contains 67 topo maps 1:50,000 in English, 13 road maps 1:250,000 a description of the hike in both north to south and south to north direction. There is a lot of important logistical information such as: How to cache water in the desert, contact info. of people in the Negev desert who will cache water for you, a list of trail angels, transportation from the airport to the trailhead in Dan or in Eilat, and much more.

The guide is available in Israel at the following book stores: Steimatzky, Tzomet Sfarim.

And at the following camping and sporting goods stores: Lametayel, Rikoshet.
