Hello!

I know I could have started this thread earlier...

I am starting to walk the INT at the 26.11.16. I am a complete vegan and normaly I prepare my food at home which I take on the trail. But now I am travelling to the most vegan land on the weekends world and I would love to taste the vegan products which I can get at the supermarket. My question is if the products that are vegan are marked in Israel and/or if the ingredients on the package are there also in english? Could you probably also tell me which are typical vegan foods in Israel like pita?

I won't use caching services so I have at least to take food for a week. This means that I have to buy food like bulgur which keeps a long time good.

Thank you very much for your replies.

Tobi

Food is marked here in Hebrew and Arabic. Some food is labeled in English too.  In any supermarket ask someone to translate
if you have problems, and you'll be fine.

As to types vegan food in Israel it is similar to vegan food in the US / Europe and the rest of the world.
I just hosted a vegan guest at my home and she did not eat meet and fish. If you are the same you won't
have any problems.

Enjoy the hike

So what do you think do I find enough food to carry with me in the supermarket of eilat or should I bring some with me from home?

Yes I'm familiar with the vegan sindrome

No need to bring food from home unless there is food that you can't leave home without it.
