Going from north to south:

After reaching the observation point (Ofer observation) the trail goes east on a dirt road. Go east for about 1 km and make a right turn south onto a hiking trail. Do not continue on the dirt road which goes further east. Just follow the signs south for ~1 km when the trail makes a sharp turn right. You've joined now the original trail.
