Along the trail you pass near or at the gates of several national parks.

You can buy a pass (Hebrew: Darkon Matmon - Treasure Passport) that allows free admission to all the national parks in Israel for one year. Inquire at the gates of Nahal Senir national park (map 2) or the first national park you visit.
