From Ein Hindak (Handak) where the INT meets the Jerusalem trail, the INT does not climb steeeply south, but it goes east on the green trail. The hike in the wadi is pelasant among ruins of ancient agricultural terraces. The trail winds and climbs south toward the access road to Even Sapir.

After crossing this road take a dirt road (marked with a red sign), and continue east for 100 m and continue on the green dirt road (do not take the right turn west on the red dirt road.)

Continue on the green dirt road and after ~150 m make a sharp turn right with the green trail. Contiue west on the green trail, the panoramic view down is great. After passing few, almost dry springs, you join the "old" markers after approx. 1 mile.
